Audiology clinic is a specialist out-patient department registered in the health department and provides hearing test, hearing aids fitting, adjustment and evaluation, preoperative evaluation and postoperative adjustment of cochlear implants, deafness gene detection, speech therapy, psychological consulting and treatment, in-community hearing health service. It is one of six centers which provide neonatal hearing diagnostic service in the city of Beijing.
In 2010, Audiology Clinic on the theme of "listening first, synchronous well-off" selected and arranged audiology specialists and professionals to provide community-based service through Hearing Test Express, deliver rehabilitation back home consistently, provide publicity and education for ear care, popularize knowledge of prevention and rehabilitation for hearing disability, and offer hearing assessment and guidance free of charge toward to the whole country, grass-root community and hearing impaired persons at all age levels.
Hearing and Speech Training Department advocates the comprehensive rehabilitation concepts, providing rehabilitation training for patients at different levels with hearing speech impairment. The department contains preschool education，inclusive education，parent-child education，parent guidance，counseling and other services.
There is a kindergarten in the department which is capable of receiving more than 120 healthy children. At the same time, it also provides inclusive education for hearing-impaired children.
? National Rehabilitation Network
Under the guidance of CRRCHSI, more than 1,000 hearing and speech rehabilitation centers have been established in China. A complete national service network for children with hearing and speech impairment has been formed.
