International Exchange and Collaboration

Key projects carried out by CRRCHSI are as below,
(1) Projects of Hearing Aids

■ From 2004 to 2006, 48,000 Children received free rehabilitation training, and 5625 children were fitted with free analogue & programmable hearing aids.

■ From 2007 to 2010, 12,000 children were fitted with free binaural digital hearing aids, each of them also got the state subsidies per year, including 100 batteries for hearing aids, 100 RMB YUAN for ear mold, 2000 RMB YUAN for rehabilitation training which would continue for 3 years.

■ From 2011-2015, 50,000 adults had got or will obtain free monaural digital hearing aids, each of them can also get the state subsidies per year, including 50 batteries for the hearing aid, 300 RMB YUAN for ear mold making and hearing aids fitting.

(2) Project of Cochlear ImplantationⅠ

■ 1,500 children received ONE free cochlear implant, 12,000 RMB YUAN for implantation surgery and 14,000 RMB YUAN for rehabilitation.

■ 9,000 children received free binaural digital hearing aids and 10,000 RMB YUAN for rehabilitation per year.

(3) Project of Cochlear ImplantationⅡ

■ 16,865 children can get ONE free cochlear implant, 12,000 RMB YUAN for implantation surgery and 14,000 RMB YUAN for rehabilitation.

■ 18,000 children can get free binaural digital hearing aids, each of them can also get the state subsidies, including 1,200 RMB YUAN for hearing test and HA fitting and 12,000 RMB YUAN for rehabilitation per year.
